"In Cabaret We Trust" is TBD Immersive's fully-immersive theatre experience that begins as soon as the audience arrives. Set in the 2020s, the popular anti-establishment Cabaret in the heart of D.C. has become a thorn in the side of the government. Complete with aerialists, fire-breathers, bondage performers, and more! You are encouraged to explore the world at the pace and level at which you are comfortable or simply sit and watch the main stage cabaret (the show within a show). Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company holds their Pay-What-You-Can performances Sept. 5 and 6 for "The Arsonists" by Max Frisch which features Woolly Artistic Director Howard Shalwitz in the cast. Written as a reflection on the rise of both Nazism and Communism, The Arsonists has uncanny new relevance today in light of the rise of populist nationalism around the globe.

Jared Shamberger's one-person performance, UNSAID, is coming to the Anacostia Playhouse for two performances only - Aug 25 & 26 at 8pm. Jared was on stage in Theater Alliance's Still Life with Rocket and will be in their production of Flood City later this season. Through a dozen different characters, Jared explores the nature of secrets and the messy, unpredictable, and sometimes comical effects of confession.
